How to prepare yourself for a holiday session ?
The holidays are approaching and you have booked your session to create your 2019 greeting cards, to offer personalized products to your loved ones for the holidays or simply to create memories with family. It is now time to prepare yourself well so that the session is up to your expectations !
What clothes to wear ?
Choose the dress style that best represents you, whether it’s casual, chic or a combination of both. It is even highly recommended to bring at least 2 outfits to offer you maximum variety during the session !
For a holiday session, it is important to take into consideration the decors, sometimes more busy than our usual decors. (See the section below dedicated to holiday decors.) You will be able to match your clothes with the chosen decor.
In all cases, it is important to wear clothes in which you will be comfortable.
Remember that you may be asked to sit or even lie down for certain poses.
For a family session : It is important to harmonize the clothes of the whole family so that the photo is balanced. It is indeed recommended that the clothes fit together well, to maximize the photo result. Avoid large logos or imposing patterns. It is not necessary to choose a single color. It’s just that the hues match well with each other. On the other hand, you can opt for a vibrant result by suggesting to all to wear various bright colors.

The photos you are about to take will represent who you are.
If you arrive at your appointment down or stressed out by traffic, this may be reflected in the outcome of the session. Be sure to take enough time to get to the studio early and remember that it is sometimes harder to find parking during the holiday season ! ;)
Your photographer will take the time to talk to you, create a comfortable environment and guide you so that you feel relaxed during the session. The most important thing is that you have FUN and that you spend a magical moment with your family !
